Well just so happens Sian's friend is a dentist so all sorted Neil now has a full set of new veneers!

After a quick bite to eat we pack off and set off to visit Monterey 90 mins from San Jose and very nice too. Weather was great yachts even more impressive and we had a little trip out on the "Little Mermaid" to check out the Sea Lions and other sea creatures.

Great Ice creams along the pier - Neil and Eloise became fans of Clam Chouwder and acquired taste......

We said our goodbyes to Sian and family and continued South on Highway 1 - a breathtaking journey with the sun just setting on the ocean and winding roads just like the movies! But alas no Rag Top for us - we checked in to our motel which was a little odd but character building and very chintzy.
